If I load film in a >M3, lllA, or any other camera that does not have an ASA indicator, I >sometimes do not remmber whats in it if I do not complete a roll, and put it >away for a period of time. >Arnold Don Abravanel >arniea@loop.com A long time back I developed a system to try to solve this problem. I use strips of masking tape (Craftsman makes a nice white version) about 2" long. I stick these on the back of the camera(s) and write the film, date loaded, and camera on the strip. I can also make brief notes as I go thru the roll. When I'm finished I pull of the strip and afix it to the cartridge. In the darkroom I pull the strip off the cartridge and stick it down on a page of my lab-book, along with the development and filing data. This system has worked pretty well for me for years. It'svery useful,of course, if you're using three or four cameras a tthe same time. Hope this has been helpful.
