There is no Leica Canada. Leica's presence in Canada is made by Kindermann,
and they have no association with Midland. I do recall a post from many
months ago (from Eric?) that attempts to tour the Midland plant (now owned
by Hughes) were rudely turned down. It turns out that the plant, in
addition to making consumer optics for Leica cameras, also did a lot of
Military satellite work. Tours were out of the question.
