A good one to consider is the Sekonic L-308B Flashmate (ignore the flash part). It is shirt-pocket size, has an incident-light dome you can slide on and off, and is very easy to get used to. About $200. Also _very_ durable: mine is full of scratches but still works fine and is on its first (standard AA) battery. Gossen also makes a Luna-Pro Digital: same shirt-pocket size, but the metering cell is on the top, so you need to hold the meter horizontally to get a reading; the Sekonic has the cell on the front so you can read the display as you take a reading. I believe the Luna-Pro also goes for about $200. - -- Nick
