I've never heard of an Olympus S, but I suspect it is a predecesor to
the Olympus SP which I lusted after as a 13 year old.  The SP was much
larger than an RC, but seemed more sturdy and had a better
rangefinder.  I think it was larger than a III series Leica, but
smaller than an M.  Non-interchangeable lens.  I believe it had some
form of autoexposure available, probably aperture priority.  The
camera magazines of the day seemed to like it pretty well.  Maybe
someday I'll pick one up just to fulfill my childhood lust.
