The 100S is a little safer. I've been using it for magazine portraits with great success. I did a side by side comparison with Velvia and the two 100s. The velvia was even warmer and NOT flattering to Caucasians, though it seems to work nicely with darker skinned people. I now use Velvia for nature and for my boating clients (only Velvia is able to hold detail in the white boats shot in desert sun; we fix the model's skin tones in photoshop) and 100s or SW for everything else. I just wish they weren't so preciously expensive--although it does improve my film markup income!! - --Donal
