Subject: Help on Rare Rollei 35

Ok, this has become the Leica and everything else list,

Can anyone identify a special Rollei 35S model, made in Germany, for
some sort 
of scientific use called the "Rollei Metric?"  has some sort of data
back.

apparently it sold new for $3,000 US.   Its not in any book that I have.
