My M6, vintage this past June, will blink its LEDs at me when the lens cap is on or in any other situation in which light is too scarce to provide adequate exposure. Another difference b/t my M6 and the Leitz M6 I had rented from Keeble and Shuchat (sp.?) is that mine has the plastic strap guards above the strap lugs to prevent brassing. A third difference is that mine came with a white "CE" sticker applied underneath the clear plastic protection covering the bottom plate. I removed both the clear plastic and the "CE" and much prefer it that way. Of course mine doesn't say "Wetzlar" on it, but otherwise it is identical, at least down to minute differences that could be detected in any two hand made objects (the advantage going to neither). - -Charlie - -------------------------------------------- Charles E.
