More than once, I had heard it was a troublesome camera, but I do not know where these troubles were supposed to occur. I had mine C-L-A'd by Leica early on, and it never gave me any hassles. No, I don't think so. Even if mine had worked 100% correctly 100% of the time, I'd still have considered it "nothing special" in terms of it's basic design.
