Having aperture priority as an option would be greatly appreciated. Also, reducing the demagnification to 1.3, or so, would be welcome. I don't see the 28mm lines anyway most of the time. I hope that Leica comes out with an M7 or M6.2 soon. Surely, 13 years is too long for one model. The M3 lasted that long, but underwent many changes, for the better, along the way. Someone on this forum referred to the M6 as male jewelery. That is fine with me. I love the bright viewfinder of the M6, but would appreciate an M7, which would be to the M6 what SL2 was to SL. The SL2 was a true classic that incorporated many lessons learned, except how to stay in business. To be sure, some of the latest lenses are dynamite, particularly the new 90mm/2.8 Elmarit. But we need more. Collectors do not buy new Leicas, novices do. People like me have to compete with collectors. An M7 or M6.2 would make the M6 collectible, which it is not now.
