Subject: A new electronic interchangeable lens

rangefinder may be on its way to challenge Leica and Contax.
 Konica's Hexar as of this week has been discontinued and a
new Hexar will be released in March, 1997.  What that camera
will be has not been announced but the speculation is that it
will have interchangeable lenses.  According to my
information, Konica also plans next year to reintroduce 
Konica SLR(s). This SLR information comes from Konica's
Japan office and that's a fascinating industry economic
development.
