In particular, the real assembly of the viewfinder looks like an afterthought. It also lacks the clarity and magnification of the M6. In fact, the view in the viewfinder is no better than the view in most wunderplastick point-and-shoot cameras. It feels cheap. In particular, the focus-by-wire wheel feels like it might fall off. This camera should cost $300, not $3000. The MiniZoom is a much better deal and probably takes comparable-quality photos. The G2 has so many bells and whistles that I feel lost. I admit that I like simplicity, but this camera simply has too many options. Yet, the people at Glazers in Seattle claim that the G2 will sell well. In conclusion, the G2 is not a Leica killer.
