Have been for years. I suppose that makes me a natural Leica-"ite." However, using the compact and obsolete M6, I recently photographed tiny serial numbers and black on black inscriptions (engraving) with black and white film. The contrast was outstanding, the focus right on. My F4s with macro lens would not have done as well. While the M6 isn't a macro camera, and this was an unusual problem, there is much to be said for allowing the human as much control as possible. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Glenn Wm.
