I've had three M3's, three M4's, and an M6.  The M3's and M6 have never had
a problem, although I DO bang my cameras around quite a lot, taking them
into the woods and the like.

The M4's were all quite subject to the need for constant attention to both
vertical and horizontal (range) alignment.  I got used to carrying a bunch
of screwdrivers with me where-ever I went ...
