You're rigth. That's the reason why I develop TMY400 with the old RODINAL
(1+25). You get fine grain (compared with that you can get with HP5+) AND
high acutance. HC100-B doesn't work fine on TMY400. You have exactly the
problem you mentioned above. HC100 and HP5+ is a truly excellent
combination, which I've practiced a lot, but with TMY400 is "boling". Try
also RODINAL (1+50) with TMX100, I'd like it.

I always overexpose 1/3 and develop with the recommended times. But pay
attention, it depends on the water hardness. I then print with a diffused
color head (DURST).
