Not true. Leica has been investigating digital imaging since the late 80s.
They just don't see the value of its implementation to their cameras, yet,
and to their customer base. The M6 will never be digital, so they have to
keep the conventional side going strong. Note that no digital system can
even come close to Leica lens performance, yet. When it does, you'll
probably see them get on the bandwagon. By then the hardware will probably
be small enough that it won't be unwieldy like current top digital cameras are.
