No. The rangefinder and viewfinder windows are separate, but right next to
each other as on the IIIb and up. This sounds like a great inconvienince,
but I don't mind it now that I'm used to it. BTW, I think the IIIf and IIIg
models are superior to the M models for focusing in very low light. The
rangefinder is magnified 1.5 times, making it quite easy. This is not true,
however, if you wear glasses. I normally use contact lenses; when I'm
wearing my glasses, I use my M cameras.
