It is in the dealers best interest to respond to our price survey. (He wants to sell Leica cameras, and we are an extensive list of Leica buyers. Now, the dealer may have to list his price as being "For Leica group subscrribers only" in order to keep Leica USA happy. Remember, Leica USA and Mother Leica are not necessarily the same. Furthermore, if we do this survey on an interantional basis, and we list the prices for say an M6 as 2,795 US; 2,295 Denmark; 2,095 Austria; 2,295 Hong Kong. That will keep everyone 'honest'. Who cares if there is a passport warrenty of not?? Then there can be a list of "suggested" dealers to contact in that country. Once a month I think would be good. For the dealers who are sensative about giving prices, we could provide a phone number where they could FAX there price list. We are providing these dealers the very best advertising they could ever get at no cost. After all, we are their target market. Yes, ofcourse, we will have to install a "Bozo" filter.
