Christies, as a reference in that article, estimated UKP 40,000. One can buy a nice car for the difference between these and US$80.000....:-)) BTW current 'limited editions': Leica has (again) made a limited batch of M6'es, this time for the 50th anniversary of the throne of King Bhumiphol from Thailand. 24 carat gold plated, including 2/50 Summicron, and snake leather skin. Sort of mixed environmental sponsorship; the profit made by Thailand in selling these things for DM 15.000 will flow to a large environmental project in Bangkok. -- Bye, _/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ illem _/ _/ an _/ _/ _/ arkerink _/_/_/ The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys <w.j.markerink@a1.nl> [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!]
