I can promise you, that you do not need a shorter exposure with a 400 >ASA film. But that is not considering the possibilities. There is always a use for any fast shutter speed. When, you might ask? How about with fast film, and a shallow depth of field. I've needed that several times recently with my EOS1n, and ended up shooting at 2.8 at 1/6000 (or thereabouts). Just what I needed. Given that's not a strong point of the M6, it's not been a probelm for me so far. I rarely shoot anything faster than 100 speed film when I'm outside anyway. Why mess up the picture with unncessary grain? I always shoot the slowest film I can get by with (which some times is 12,800!). ========================== Eric Welch Grants Pass Daily Courier
