This probably means that the R8 is coming. I am not an R-camera fan, but thought some of you are. I also saw the new Contax autofocus camera. I felt like a brick, but seemed to work OK in the program mode. I hope that the R8 will not look and feel like the new Contax. I also found out that there is a 24mm lens coming out soon for the M cameras. Could not find out any details, including price. Incidentally, due to my trip to the Land of Silocon, I missed the 35mm ASPH flame war. For all it may be worth, I like Fred Ward's opinions and do not wish that he leave this forum.
