For what it is worth:

Rangefinder magazine, June 1996, page 64, New Products column, lists Leica
M mount adapters "offering compatibility between the lens and viewfinder
window for all Leica M bodies" being distributed throughout Europe by
Classic Collection. Adapters are 50-75, 28-90, and 35-135.
