I only know what I've heard other people say about these lenses, and what I'm hearing is the Pop tests aren't even close wide open. And from what else I've seen in their tests - it's been a while, I don't subscribe and haven't for years - there's nothing much to recommend them. They're too committed to advertisers to say anything bad. And since Leica doesn't advertise with them, you can guess why they bad-mouth their lenses when they get a chance. I remember one headline several years ago that tried to imply a Leica R5 with 50mm lens would cost over $5,000. What baloney! And their descriptions of Leica always say their prices are astronomical, but look at the Contax RTSIII which at one point was more expensive than an R7, and not one word about the price being out of line. It all adds up to a lack of credibility. I think I've wasted enough bandwidth. Sorry. ========================== Eric Welch Grants Pass Daily Courier
