Hm.

I'm happy to have an M6J - and maybe I'm fooled and deep in mistakes
but I always thought I would be able to meter with the camera (at
least when there are batteries inside, fresh and at the right place
...).

No, sorry for joking: The M6J is an M6 with the viewfinder system of
the M3, it has an improved metering system (wider range) and it's by
far smoother than a "usual" M6. Again an order of magnitude more
silent than the M6 ..., more heavy, built even more solid. I call it
an improvement (and I would have more M6J bodies if I could afford
and get them). It's really a pity that a beautiful and extremely
handy camera like the M6J is kept behind glass at collector's desks
...

Greetings to you all
Hubert
