Mr Fortunko's sarcasm is all very fine, but my simple comment to him still
stands:  Leica prices are not "too high", as that implies a rigid standard,
as in THIS price is the CORRECT ONE and any other price for an item is
either too high or too low.

Rather, Leica prices are driven by the cost of fine craftsmanship and a
seller's market.  If we are not willing to pay the cost, then we ought not
to be using Leica.  

There are many, many, many Leica items I lust after and cannot afford:  but
my relative penury does not make these "overpriced", it simply reflects that
I have other things to spend my money on.  The choice is mine.

Now, if I win the lottery ... ah, but that's a different story.
