Does anyone know how >much real difference is there between an R6.2 and R6? I hope that Leica does >not follow this route with respect to the M6. We need something revolutionary >every forty years, or so. The R6.2 increased max shutter speed to 1/2000 sec. I know that the shutter operation is vertical in the 6.2, not sure in the 6. That may be how the faster shutter was achieved, along with the lighter materials that they mention. A magnifier lens was put over the frame counter to aid in visability, and the shutter cintrol ring was raised in height slightly to make handling easier. This last item was told to me by a user, so I don't know first hand.
