I love my CL and recently went on a quest for PX625. The first store I went to had a PX625 replacment using some non-mercury, non-alkaline technology. I think it it was something like lithium ion or something. It claimed it was a drop in replacement for PX625, was environmentally friendly, had a shelf life of 10-years and didn't require recalibrating your meter. I haven't tried it yet, but given the battery life on my CL, the two I bought should probably last about 10 years. I guess I just wanted to say, if you have a CL, don't give up on it yet. There still may be batteries available. --Jim Dempsey-- jjd@bbn.com
