I've used the Summaron extensively on my IIIf.  I also have a Summicron
f2 35mm for my M3 & M2.  The Summicron is sharper, but the Summaron is
very decent.  At f/8 or smaller, I'm sure you'd never notice the difference.
Probably not at f/5.6 either.
